So I am going back to work again at the Trapper Trails Council Scout Office for the BSA. It's only part time but that is really all I need at this point. I will still keep my 13 piano students and told the scout office that I would not quit teaching those kids piano lessons in order to come back, so if they wanted me to come work for them we had to figure out some scheduling issues. Well they went to work and I went to work with some rearranging and - wah-lah - I am going to be employed again. You never know what changes might be lurking around the corner and I should be grateful that I am even being offered a job. (yes they sought me out) In this economy this is a blessing. So I am smiling.

Trunk-or-Treat
We had a fun time at our Ward's Trunk-or-Treat at the church. But it was very cold and so not many people stayed for very long. The best part was that five of my eight grandchildren came to it. Bryan was at a meeting but I enjoyed having the grandkids there. Thanks to those who helped me out with some pictures to post. They said that there was going to be an adult costume contest but I don't remember not one person saying anything about it and not very many adults dressed up. But I did my part. I went as a witch! So when the kids came I had them take pictures with the grandkids. We missed having Sheri and McLain and their kids come but it would have been a long trip for a very cold and short Trunk-or-Treat. Anyway - It was a good activity and we had a fun Halloween.

Intro - Pre-piano prep course for ages 4-7
Welcome!
Well I am trying my hand at blogging. Who knows where this will lead but I will give it a go. It will give me something to do in all my spare time. Hahaha!!! We all have that right!
Let me introduce myself if you don't know me. I am a resident of West Point, UT and was raised here and I have lived here most of my life. I am married to my high school sweetheart Bryan and we have 7 children and 8 grandchildren whom we love very much. I have been teaching piano lessons in some form or another since I was age 17. Music has always been one of the most important things in my life and has brought me much joy and fun.
I am a member of the Utah Music Teachers Association and also a member of the Utah MacDowell Ensemble Chapter of the MacDowell Colony League.
Oh - just an FYI - I am going to be taking on some more Piano students if anyone knows anyone that is interested. Have them just give me a call or email me at jksnowbee.1@gmail.com. I am also going to put together a couple of small preschool/kindergarten ages music prep groups of four to six kids either in the mornings or in the afternoons one day a week and teach a condensed 39 week pre music corriculum as a pre-piano prep course. If you know anyone who has preschool or kindergarten children and are thinking of having them start piano lessons within the next two years then give me a call or email me. By the time they finish this year of music prep they will be more than ready to start private or group piano lessons. This prep-class will have a one time deposit for materials and a monthly fee for the weekly classes. Anyone interested please call me at 801-645-9230 or email me at jksnowbee.1@gmail.com
